2020 Conference POSTPONEMENT

Best Practices in Suicide Prevention
for High Risk Populations in Berkshire County

to be rescheduled for FALL 2020

Dear Friends of BCSP,

I am writing to let you know that the Berkshire Suicide Prevention Conference, scheduled for May 8th has been postponed. In an abundance of caution, we are going to reschedule the conference for the fall. As soon as the new date is secured we will let you know when registration will reopen. If you registered already, you will receive a full refund.

As you know, many other events have been cancelled, and will be cancelled or rescheduled going forward. Although this is so disappointing for all of us, we are actually slowing the spread of the COVID19 virus by reducing opportunities for infection.

Please take care of your mental health during this unprecedented time in our community and the world. Although we may be physically separate from one another, there are many ways to stay connected. Here is a link from the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention with some tips: Taking Care of Your Mental Health in the Face of Uncertainty

We are in this together, and help is always available.  If you’re feeling alone and struggling, you can also reach out to The Crisis Text Line by texting TALK to 741741 or National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK.

Sincerely,

Lee
